2020 Texas Gladiators turns the post-apocalyptic landscape into a rough frontier, where wandering fighters and threatened communities supply the structure of a western. The future date matters less than the collapse of any reliable public order. What distinguishes this branch of action cinema is its willingness to combine scavenged modern machinery with older forms of domination and resistance. Watch how the film divides a group of hardened survivors into individual loyalties once collective muscle alone is no longer enough.
