The parody title immediately invokes the language of a very recognizable horror hit. A useful way into this film is to distinguish borrowed presentation from an actual comic transformation: what happens to uncertainty, offscreen space and the frightened camera once they are repurposed for a joke? A reference becomes more interesting when it changes the mechanics of a scene.
