From Beyond imagines scientific perception as a bodily hazard: seeing more of reality changes the person doing the seeing. The resonator's promise of access becomes inseparable from appetite, mutation and a loss of boundaries. Its effects make the mind and body refuse to stay in separate categories. Watch how the laboratory's cramped space fills with sensations and organisms that do not obey ordinary scale. The film's particular excess lies in making expanded knowledge feel tactile, invasive and difficult to switch off.
