Night of the Day of the Dawn uses the images of an existing zombie film as material for a new comic soundtrack. The result makes the relationship between picture and voice unusually obvious. A pause, glance or threatening approach can acquire another meaning when the words refuse the original dramatic intention. Watch the timing of the dubbing rather than expecting visual invention in the usual sense. Its central experiment is how much a familiar horror image can be redirected by sound alone.
